From Laurel County Sheriff John Root -
Deputy Tommy Houston along with K-9 Deputy Gary Mehler arrested Peggy Jones age 50 of Pineville, KY early Sunday morning February 16, 2020 at approximately 1:14 AM.
The arrest occurred off Hammock Road, approximately 3 miles South of London after deputies were dispatched to an out-of-control female subject there.
Upon arrival at the scene deputies conducted an investigation on Jones who was determined to be under the influence. She created a disturbance there cursing and screaming and was charged with alcohol intoxication in a public place; disorderly conduct – second-degree.
Peggy Jones was lodged in the Laurel County correctional center.
