Domestic incident in Middlesboro leads to the arrests of two

On Saturday September 28, 2019 Middlesboro Police were dispatched to Save-A-Lot, in regard to a possible domestic incident between male and female. Responding to the scene were Officers Kenny Vanover and Jeremiah Johnson, who made contact with the individuals sitting in a VW Jetta, as described in the call.


During the investigation, the man – identified as 42-year-old Lonnie Rogers of Middlesboro – was found to have a clear plastic bag containing a crystal-like substance believed to be Methamphetamine in his front shorts pocket (weighing 1.2 grams). A search of the vehicle revealed in the console another clear plastic bag containing a crystal-like substance within reach of where Rogers had been in the passenger seat (weighing 4.6 grams).


The female driver – identified as 45-year-old Linda Lee Graster also of Middlesboro – was found to have in her hand a plastic bag containing a crystal-like substance believed to be Methamphetamine (weighing 1.2 grams). She was seen by Officer Johnson attempting to conceal the bag down the front of her pants. The other plastic baggy (with 4.6 grams of what is believed to be Methamphetamine) was also within Graster’s reach. She was also found to have two Clonazepam pills in her right front pocket.


Both were transported to and lodged in the Bell County Detention Center.

Lonnie Rogers was charged with possession of controlled substance - 1st degree (Methamphetamine). He is being held on a $10,000 cash bond.


Linda Graster was charged with possession of controlled substance - 1st degree (Methamphetamine) and possession of controlled substance - 3rd degree (drug unspecified).

She has since been released from custody.
