Flat Lick man arrested for vehicle theft and wanton endangerment

On Friday July 24, 2020 Knox County Deputy Bobby Jones arrested 36 year old Jonathan Bargo of Flat Lick, KY on a Knox County Arrest Warrant for Theft by Unlawful Taking or Disposition-over $500 and three counts of Wanton Endangerment -1st Degree.


The arrest was a result of Deputy Jones’ investigation into the theft of a 2005 Nissan Altima complaint on May 23, 2020.


The victim and two others observed the vehicle at a residence on Highway 718 in the Big Creek area. When they approached the vehicle. Jonathan Bargo pulled out in the vehicle at a high rate of speed nearly striking the victim and the two other people. Jonathan Bargo was also wanted on two Knox County Bench Warrants for failure to appear on two separate charges of Theft by Unlawful Taking or Disposition-over $500.


He was lodged in the Knox County Detention Center
