Knox County stolen vehicle arrest

On Tuesday, January 15 2018 Knox County Deputy SGT Carl Frith was contacted by the owner of a 1985 Cadillac Sedan who advised that his vehicle had stolen from his place of business on US 25 E south of Barbourville.


Through his investigation, SGT Frith located the stolen Cadillac at T&W Metal in Flat Lick. Sgt Frith learned that 32 year old Joshua Gray of Trosper, Ky. had brought the vehicle there and sold it for scrap metal.


On January 15, 2018 SGT Frith and Deputy Hunter Luttrell located Joshua Gray at a residence on Gregory Branch in Artemus.


Joshua Gray was arrested and charged with two counts of Theft by Unlawful Taking or Disposition-over $500. Joshua Gray was also wanted on a Bell County Bench Warrant for failure to pay the fines on Failure to Produce Insurance Card and License to be in Possession.


He was lodged in the Knox County Detention Center.
