Early Wednesday Morning a local Lee County Virginia church was destroyed by fire.
Lee County fire units were dispatched to the Free Pentecostal Church of God located on Ely Pucketts Creek Road in Pennington Gap. The fire gutted the structure, but according to the Lee County Sheriff’s Office no one was injured in the blaze.
While the investigation is on going, church members have started a go fund me page to assist in the rebuilding process.
