Early Thursday morning January 2, 2020 Middlesboro Officers responded to Noah’s Ark Daycare on 17th street in response to a burglary.
The owner of the business reported that when she went in to open up for the day, she discovered 43 year old Diane Gray of Middlesboro in a back storage room. Gray was going through a tote of toys and clothing.
Gray is reported to have then left the building where she was located by Acting Chief Tom Busic walking south on 17th street in front of the building next door to the daycare. Video surveillance shows Gray making entry through a side door of the business at approximately 1:30am Thursday morning and seen going through the property of the employees and the business.
Diane Gray was arrested and lodged in the Bell County Detention Center charged with burglary 3rd degree. She was also served a bench warrant for a probation violation and a pay or stay warrant.
