Middlesboro man arrested for abuse

From WRIL

Kenneth Nash - BCDC

On Thursday night January 10, 2019 just before midnight, Middlesboro Officer Nick Capps responded to a call from dispatch that a female was screaming at a residence at Junction Apartments.

Upon Capps arrival, he reports that he could hear a man identified as 52 year old Kenneth E. Nash cursing and screaming and a woman identified as Lisa Cook crying inside.

Capps states that Nash willingly opened the door of the apartment and he saw Ms. Cooke laying in the floor crying with blood coming from her head. Cook stated to the officer that Nash threw her in the floor, started kicking her in the head, and punching her. The officer observed severe pump knots on her head and a cut behind her right ear.

A standard adult abuse form was filled out and it was discovered that Nash had been banned from the Junction Apartments property.

Kenneth Nash was lodged in the Bell County Detention Center charged with criminal trespass 1st degree and assault 4th degree – domestic. He was also served eight outstanding warrants, one of which carries no bond.
