30-year-old Tyler Adam Robinson formerly of Middlesboro, Kentucky, was booked into the Roane County Jail earlier this month on charges of child rape and continuous sexual abuse of a child.
According to the warrant, Harriman police were contacted by Middlesboro Police about alleged sex crimes against a child that occurred in Harriman. The alleged victim reported being repeatedly raped by Robinson while living at a residence in Harriman from 2017 to 2019.
The warrant stated: “After receiving this information, this office coordinated a forensic interview for the victim at the Cumberland Valley Child Advocacy Center.” Additionally it was stated that the victim provided details of multiple incidents and they also underwent a medical exam which confirmed and supported the victim’s statements.
Robinson was still in custody at the Roane County Jail on Tuesday on a $10,000 bond. He’s scheduled to appear in Roane County General Sessions Court later this month.
