MPD Interdiction Team executes search warrants resulting in drug arrests

From the Middlesboro Police Department -

On Thursday, January 27, 2022, Middlesboro Police executed at search warrant on two residents in the Polly Hollow area.


After a lengthy drug investigation, the Middlesboro Interdiction Team lead by Officer John Kinder requested a search warrant for 119 and 120 Left Fork Polly Hollow. During the execution of the search warrants, illegal substances were found at both residences. At the 120 home, officers found suspected Methamphetamine along with syringes loaded with a clear substance believed to be Methamphetamine.


At the 119 residence officers found various prescription pills and suspected Marijuana.


A total of nine bench warrants were served and four individuals were charged with drug related offenses.


Those charged and lodged in the Bell County Detention Center were:

Individuals charged were David Burchfield, Corey T Simpson, Ernest T Thomas, Stephanie Estes, Bobby Moore, Lisa Prater, and Larry Wayne Hatfield. Stephanie Estes was cited to court.


MPD Officers that executed the search warrant were Officer John Kinder, Narcotics Officer Ryan Collins, Lt Josh Burchett, Sgt Chris Barnes, Officer Jacob Quillen, Officer Ben Spurlock, Officer Jake Perry, and Officer Jake Partin.
