Pineville, Ky man arrested for drugs in Laurel County after report of someone passed out

Laurel County Sheriff's Deputy Brent France arrested 30-year-old Christian Mitchell Partin of Pineville, KY on Friday December 17, 2021 at approximately 8:52 AM.


The arrest occurred in a business parking lot off South Stewart Road after Deputy France was dispatched to a complaint of a male subject passed out in a vehicle in the parking lot there.


Upon arrival Deputy France noted that Partin was in the vehicle with the window rolled down and was wet from rain and that the individual was difficult to awaken.


Upon awakening Partin, an investigation was conducted and he was determined to be under the influence and in possession of suspected Methamphetamine and Neurontin capsules.

Christian Partin was charged with possession of a controlled substance – first-degree – first offense – Methamphetamine, possession of a controlled substance – first-degree – first offense – Opiates, Public intoxication – controlled substances, and prescription controlled substances not in proper container – first offense.


Sheriff John Root stated that drug arrests will continue in Laurel County.
