On Tuesday June 11, 2019 Bell County Deputy Patrick Brooks arrested current parolee 42 year old Roy Darrell Sanders III of Pineville for an incident that took place on April 13, 2019.
At that time, Deputy Patrick Brooks responded to a domestic incident in which there was enough probable cause to determine that Sanders intentionally caused serious physical injury to a woman by beating her in the face, kicking her ribs and back, breaking three ribs, grabbing her by the hair and holding a knife to her throat.
The woman was treated for her injuries at Pineville Community Health Center.
Roy Sanders was arrested at his residence, lodged in the Bell County Detention Center, and charged with assault 2nd degree – domestic violence. He is being held on a $250,000 cash bond.
Deputy Brooks served Sanders with a domestic violence order while in custody.
