Laurel County deputies say they arrested a man Friday night along I-75 after they noticed the driver weaving in and out of traffic.
Deputies say when they pulled over the Toyota Yaris, they noticed the smell of marijuana coming from the car. The driver, Jeffrey Fortunato, was determined to be under the influence. Fortunato is from Boston, Massachusetts.
Inside the car, deputies found a large amount of cash, 1 pound and 3.9 ounces of Lego gummies laced with THC, and marijuana.
Deputies charged Fortunato with driving under the influence, trafficking in marijuana, and possession of drug paraphernalia.
Fortunato was taken to the Laurel County Detention Center.
