Tuesday afternoon October 5, 2021, Claiborne County Deputies along with Sheriff Bob Brooks responded to a call of a man pulling a gun on his son at a residence on Baldwin Hill Road in Tazewell.
Shortly after arriving on scene, the individual - identified as 54-year-old Christopher Pittman - surrendered and was taken into custody. No motive for the incident has been reported yet, but drugs may have played a role.
Christopher Pittman was lodged in the Claiborne County Jail charged with aggravated assault, felony possession of a firearm, and possession of a firearm during the commission of a dangerous felony.
Deputy Trevor Seals is the arresting officer on this case.
