On Monday, July 5, 2021, Officer Jacob Melton and Sgt. Andrew Sturgill conducted a traffic stop on 44-year-old Christopher P. Dean of New Tazewell, Tn. on Richardson Rd. in Tazewell for a traffic violation. Dean was operating a 1993 Buick.
After a search of the vehicle a large amount of narcotics and a weapon were recovered, along with $897.00 in cash.
