Two from Louisville arrested for conspiracy to traffic Methamphetamine

From The Middlesboro Police Department –

After acting on a tip on Saturday July 18,, 2020 the Middlesboro Police Department conducted an independent investigation leading to a traffic stop and ultimately the arrest of two Louisville men for drug charges.


The focus of the investigation was the trafficking of Methamphetamine. The stop also yielded a stolen handgun from Louisville, Ky.


Arrested and lodged in the Bell County Detention Center were:


18-year-old Tiglon Nelson of Louisville charged with conspiracy to traffic in controlled substance – 1st offense and possession of Marijuana.


20-year-old Leslie S. Taylor also of Louisville, charged with conspiracy to traffic in controlled substance – 1st offense, receiving stolen property (firearm), and possession of Marijuana.


Officer Nick Capps is lead investigator with assistance by Sgt. Barry Cowan.
