The search for missing Bell Countian 34-year-old Candace Lynn England has come to an end after a member of the Bell County Rescue Squad found her deceased a short time before 11:00 am Tuesday morning September 14th in a wooded area close to where she went missing near Cannon Creek Lake.
KSP responded along with the Bell County Coroner's Office and began an investigation. Kentucky State Police state that no foul play is suspected in this incident. An autopsy will be conducted at the State Medical Examiners Office.
England was reported missing Sunday night September 12th after she had been in the area four-wheeling with others. The initial report states she left the group walking.
Several crews from area rescue squads and volunteers combed the area Monday and set out this morning after 7:00 am from a command post set up at Faith Temple Church on Highway 25E.
Kentucky State Police Detective Aaron Frederick is in charge of this ongoing investigation.
Candace, the daughter of Middlesboro Fire Chief Robert England, leaves behind an 11-year-old son.
