Video caught the burglary star(s) - both back in jail days after being released

Early Thursday morning February 28 a short time after 12 midnight Pineville Police received a complaint call of a burglary at a residence on Virginia Avenue. Responding were Pineville Officers Jason Williams and Brandon Hollingsworth.


Once on scene home owner William Howard provided the officers with video surveillance showing 22 year old Samantha Bays and 22 year old Logan Howard both of Pineville entering the home through the front door.


The pair remained inside the residence and it was discovered Howard had stolen a shotgun and several other items. Both Howard and Bays were apprehended a short time later, arrested and lodged in the Bell County Detention Center.


Officer Williams stated that Howard said when he gets out of jail he was going to harm Williams Howard for pressing charges.


Bays and Howard were both charged with Burglary - 1st degree and Howard was also charged with terroristic threatening – 3rd degree. They are being held on separate $10,000 cash bonds.


Samantha Bays had just been release from jail on Tuesday February 26th in regard to a bench warrant she had been picked up on Monday night the 25th by Pineville Officer Michael Smith in regard to several motor vehicle violations.


William Howard had also just been released on bond from the detention center on the 26th after being served a bench warrant.
